One of our favorite rigs is this beautiful 1965 FJ40. It is every bit as
capable as it is good looking.
Brought to Man-A-Fre for the following work:
Install rebuilt Aussie 4 speed trans w/Advance Adapters Rock Box, and
rebuilt transfer case.
Install Rebuilt/modified 60 series full float rear axle, w/4"56 R&P's, and
ARB Air Lockers front and rear. Rebuild front knuckles/hubs, convert to disc
brakes.
Install DUI Ignition distributor, and wires, ceramic tuned headers, Weber 38
DGAS. Install custom exhaust system.
Install SSS-404SRKE-OME Suspension system, w/U-Bolt Flip Kits.
Install 4+Plus 2" body lift.
Convert to Saginaw Power Steering.
Install 4+Plus 2654C winch bumper w/Warn 8274 winch, and Aussie grille/brush
gaurd front,
Install 4+Plus Rear tow bumper/tire/cooler carrier.
And quite a bit more, but these are the major items done to this rig.

Old Man Emu 3" lift with ARB Bull Bar

I started with the Aluminum Tub, A wiring harness, two fenders, an aluminum
bib, Toyota Land Cruiser, side panel logos, Tie-rods, tie rod ends, dash
panel, roll cage, Weber carburetor kit, Knuckle rebuild kits, After-market
A/C, Heater parts, aluminum Diamond Plate kit, Rear tail-gate tire
holder/cooler rack bumper, tail lights, "Oh My God" handle on the dash...
Fender flairs, Front Turn Signal units, Safari Bar, Old Man Emu Suspension
and
Nitro-charged shocks, 2" body lift kit, High-performance headers, and a few
misc. items. A few of these items were purchased by the previous owner, but
most of the big ticket items were purchased and installed by me.

D. S. Rule
1987 FJ60, purchased in August of 1999 with 107k and a cracked head
from 2nd owner of vehicle in El Paso TX. Shipped to TN, head
replaced with used head that was milled 30 thousandths, new valve
springs, guides, seats, freeze plugs and seals and it was given a 3
angle valve job, the weep hole was drilled, tapped and plugged, new
water pump, all new belts, radiator and heater hoses, new timing
cover gasket & seal header, intake manifold washer detents built up
to match thickness of header flange, MAF Fluid heat riser, 2"
exhaust with 2 chamber flow master muffler (hence the name,
Thumper),custom front bumper, repainted in June 2003, 2.5" BDS lift
kit with shocks,
poly bushings and sway bar extenders, MAF 4+ Shackle Reversal, MAF
4+ U-bolt flip kits front and rear, Hyper Shackles in rear.
