We took
our 1995 FZJ80 w/4" lift and our new 4+Plus HD control arms and
lifted the right front wheel until the right rear wheel came off the
ground.
You can see in the pictures that the HD control arm spherical end
has rotated quite a bit, yet still has more rotation left. Most
interesting is the fact that the OEM rubber bushings at the axle,
have not deflected at all, meaning no stress or resistance to
articulation. |
Looking for the ultimate in rear lower control arms for your 80
series? These arms from 4+Plus are made from 2" by 3/8" wall DOM tube
and feature 1" Teflon Lined, Chrome Moly Spherical rod ends with a
static load rating of 82,200 lbs. Custom Stainless Steel misalignment
bushings allow for resistance free articulation. These arms retain
factory rubber bushings at one end to help absorb shock and
vibration. Black Zinc coated. Will fit stock or lifted 80 series,
with or without our bracket kit. Sold in pairs. OEM Rubber Bushings
included.
