GM BOOSTER/MASTER CONVERSION KIT

One of the main problems with early Land Cruiser (pre 7/70) braking systems, was the lack of a power brake booster. This becomes particularly evident when converting to disc brakes. Our kits allow for the installation of a 9" GM type dual diaphragm vacuum booster with dual circuit master cylinder and a proportioning valve designed for either Disc/Drum or Disc/Disc set ups. Our adapter bracket clears the firewall rib, and bolts directly to the mounting holes for the OEM brake master. All parts are new, no rebuilt parts. Disc/Disc set up comes with an additional Wilwood Adjustable pressure regulator to fine tune rear disc brakes. Installation requires a high degree of mechanical competency, and use of brake tube cutter and flaring tools.

Adapter bracket available separately in 2 styles. BB-1 will adapt GM type booster to firewall with triangular bolt pattern used on vehicles that mount the OEM master to the firewall. BB-2 will adapt GM type booster to later vehicles that had a stock Toyota brake booster and a square 4 bolt firewall pattern.
