Selected high quality components brought together in complete kits for those
that are looking for the ultimate in off road performance from their 80
series Land Cruiser, but still want a vehicle with excellent street manners
to get to the trail head.
Kits are built around Old Man Emu’s Competition series HD coil springs
developed for the Australian Outback Challenge, and feature higher spring
rates to absorb the punishment from truly aggressive off roading. Higher
spring rates also help to control body roll, but still deliver an
exceptional ride quality. Front coils are rated at 300lbs linear and rears
are 280lbs. Lift *heights for these kits are 3”, 4”, 5”, and 6" .
Old Man Emu “L” version heavy N73, and N74 Nitrocharged shock absorbers are
also used to deliver super long travel and excellent ride control. An OME
steering dampener is also provided.
4+Plus front extended sway bar links provides clearance for front drive
shaft at full droop. 4+Plus front bump stop spacers prevent front shock
bottoming.
On the 3” and 4” kits our 4+Plus front control arm relocating brackets
realign the control arms and caster angle. On the 5”, and 6" kits a 4+plus
control arm relocting kit is used in conjunction with OME offset caster
bushings to realign the front control arms, and regain proper front end
caster.
Our 6" kit utilizes 5" competition coils with our 30mm polyurethane coil
spring spacers .
To counteract axle offset from lifts higher than 2" our kits are supplied
with our USA made, super HD front and rear adjustable panhards rods that
allow repositioning of the axles and increased flexibility.
4+Plus super HD adjustable rear upper control arms w/spherical ends allow
for realignment of rear pinion angle and increased flexibility.
Please order appropriate extended brake line kit separately to match vehicle
production date and brakes.
Our rear shock rock protectors are available separately if desired.
