For many years our six into one headers have been the
best selling exhaust headers for Land Cruiser F and 2F engines. Originally
developed by our founder Harold Graves in 1968 and manufactured for many
years these headers delivered power and fuel economy for a very reasonable
price. Over the decades the jig used for manufacturing these headers became
worn, the design of the flange became rather dated and the fit was
problematic, so we decided it was time for an overhaul, and update.
The new version of our six into one headers retains the effective long
primary tube design for low end power and fuel economy, but now we have
incorporated the high end two piece, flat faced flange from our “Tuned
Ceramic” headers for leak free installations, and easy fitting. We have also
increased the thickness of the lower 3 bolt flange to help reduce warping
and leaks.
Header kits include, headers, manifold gasket, lower connector flange, lower
flange gasket, and hardware for lower flange. Headers are supplied in bare
steel for FJ40, and FJ55/60. Early vehicles with oil lines to remote filter
must change to longer lines for clearance to headers, steel braided lines
are recommended. Welding is required to attach connecting flange to exhaust
system. Headers do not fit pre 1968 Siamese port engines.
Disclaimer: These parts are designed for racing and off-road use only. They
are not intended for use in lieu of factory emission control devices, and
they are not legal for sale or use in California on pollution controlled
vehicles.
Important*** Requires modification to clear PTO drive shaft. Notch must be
cut into triangular flange.
"1971-73 models must change to longer oil lines like our neoprene or steel
braided oil lines."
