"WHAT MAKES DBA ROTORS SO GOOD?"
The ultimate in rotor technology is now available for your FZJ80, and 80-90
FJ40/60. DBA's exclusive manufacturing processes,
TSP(Thermal Stability Profiling) patented "Kangaroo Paw" cooling design, and
alloy content add up to deliver a direct replacement
rotor with unmatched braking performance for your Land Cruiser. A DBA "Club
Spec" rotor will deliver up to 20% better thermal efficiency
when compared to standard type "vane" rotors.
The patented "Kangaroo Paw" cooling design, is a series of 144 diamond and
tear drop pillars, which greatly increases the cooling
efficiency, makes the rotor stronger, and improves rotor stability. Based on
the same principal as a centrifugal pump, the pillars pump
out the hot air which builds up within the ventilated brake disc. The disc
rotor is cooled faster and more evenly than previously possible.
Better cooling improves pad, and rotor life and helps reduce brake fade. The
positioning of the pillars increases strength across the
disc, and reduces the tendency for distortion-a major cause of DTV (Disc
Thickness Variation).
TSP(Thermal Stability Profiling), is a proprietary process developed by DBA
for improving performance of disc brake rotors. The benefits

of the core temperatures your rotors have achieved.
