Whenever you are using a snatch strap, tree saver strap, drag chain, snatch block or a cable you should be using one of these bow shackles to bring it all together. This shackle is the only safe way to attach one piece of your recovery setup to another. Failure to properly secure cables, snatch blocks, chains, etc. can lead to disaster and tragedy. This 3/4 inch shackle is rated to 16,000lbs. A good recovery kit should include at least two of these shackles.
