Safari Individual Suspension Leaf Springs

At Man-A-Fre, we have our own Safari Springs produced for the FJ40, 55, and 60 series Land Cruisers. Available in various lifts for the different vehicles, these springs are designed to improve ride quality, and both on-road and off-road performance. Our lifted springs will provide extra clearance for off-roading, or larger than stock tires, as well as improving front and rear approach angles. When mated to the appropriate extended travel Safari Nitro or Old Man Emu Shocks, an increase in wheel travel is gained for improved off-road ability and ride comfort. Springs are shot-peened on the tension side to increase spring life, have anti-friction tip inserts on the main leafs for reduced friction and improved ride quality, and tapered tips to reduce inter-leaf friction. We use military warps on springs where they will fit. Our Dual State rear springs are fitted with a load leaf to compensate for extra weight without a harsh ride.

For the FJ40 series, we offer stock height replacement springs front and rear that are copies of the OEM springs. For lifting the front we have an 8 leaf 2-1/2" lift springs sets that will deliver the ultimate in comfort and flexibility, and a 5 leaf 4" lift spring set for those requiring a little more lift to clear 35" tires. For the rear, we have a 6 leaf 2-1/2" dual stage spring, a 5 leaf 4" lift single stage spring, or a 6 leaf 4-1/2" dual stage spring. All springs are available individually, or in one of our Safari Spring Kits.

For the FJ55 series, we offer 8 leaf 4" lift springs front and rear, that will dramatically improve the ride quality, while allowing easy clearance for 33" tires, and significantly increasing the load carrying ability of the vehicle.

For the FJ60 series, we offer stock height replacement springs front and rear that are copies of the OEM springs. For lifting the front we have a 5 leaf 2-1/2" lift spring that is extremely comfortable, and an 8 leaf 3" lift rear spring, or a 9 leaf dual stage 3-1/2" lift rear spring to match.

There are many related items to be considered when lifting a vehicle: Shackle reversal kits, extended stainless steel brake lines, heavy duty sway bar kits, U-bolts, bushings, shackles, etc. For this reason, we highly suggest you discuss your suspension upgrade to our sales advisor, so you know before you buy, what related prices you will require to get the dream suspension you want.

**When lifting the front of a 60 series Land Cruiser it is necessary to fit extended sway bar links to retain proper operating angle.

Additional Notes:

3). Installation of our lifted FJ55 springs requires use of extended shackles. See part number RSK-1055 SHACKLES RSK HD ANTI-INVERSION

4). Installation of non OEM rear springs on an FJ60/62 requires removal of isolation system, and use of #OME-CBS01 center bolt locater.

5). Lifted leaf springs have a higher arch than the non lifted springs they replace. This means that when they compress and flatten they will get longer than the springs they replaced, and they will require longer and/or anti inversion shackles to accommodate this travel.

Payment by WIRE BANKING TRANSFER ONLY. For direct wire transfers there is a $30 fee for each transfer that will be included with the order total. Once we process your order, we will email the total, including freight, $30 wire transfer fee, and our banking information. You will need to respond whether you accept the total charges or not.
