We had a customer with a 1978 FJ40 ask us if we could do some restoration work on the vehicle that had been in his family and carried some sentimental value for him. This work would include a new aluminum body tub, H55 transmission install w/parking brake drum, hi-performance 2F with ceramic headers, DUI ignition, and a Weber 38, Old Man Emu suspension, 4+Plus front and rear bumpers, 28 gallon under seat tank, 4+Plus roll cage, procar seats, tuffy console, etc, etc, etc. We decided to put up some pictures of this job, so you can get an idea of what is possible with your FJ40, also to show some of the work we do in our shop.

We will start out showing the vehicle as it first came to us, then disassembly and prep work, and add pictures as often as we can until the project is done.
