Installation of this kit requires a fair degree of mechanical competence, and knowledge. If you are unsure of your ability to install this kit, we highly recommend that you have a professional mechanic perform the installation. If you have any questions, Man-A-Fre gives free technical advice to anyone during our normal business hours. Ouur installation shop is available for those that would like an experienced Land Cruiser facility to perform the installation. This kit is designed for off-road and competition purposes only.

1) On a clean, flat, level surface, suspend vehicle by frame on load appropriate jack stands or vehicle hoist.

2) Support the axle housing with jack stands

3) Remove the bolts(one per arm) that attach the control arms to the chassis/frame mounts, and let the arm drop down,

4) Support the transmission cross member with a jack stand or floor jack. Remove the 4 front bolts (2 per side) that attach the cross member to the chassis/frame.

5) Slide the control arm caster brackets into the frame bracket. Start the bolts through the bracket, and transmission cross member into the frame. Install the original bolts through the frame bracket and the 4+Plus drop brackets. Torque these bolts to 130 ft lbs. Tighten transmission cross member bolts.

6) Lift the control arm into the drop bracket and secure the arm to the bracket with the 18mm bolts/nuts supplied with the kit, but do not fully tighten .

7) Inspect components. Lower vehicle to the ground. Jounce vehicle to set suspension. Torque 18mm mounting bolts. Test drive vehicle , reinspect suspension.
